Honeymoon Day 12

Today's our last day in Barcelona, and by that I mean we're flying out at like 8am to go back to London, so this doesn't even count. There was some kind of disruption going on at the train station, if I heard right I think the train workers were on strike, so we couldn't hop a train to the airport, so we took a cab instead, nbd.

We blew the rest of our remaining Euro on some breakfast at the airport, and then it was a little over 2 hours to London. Check in at passport one last time in jolly old England, and off to downtown again.

For the last night of our honeymoon, I booked us the swankest place in town: The Exhibitionist Hotel. Artists come into the hotel and design the rooms and the furniture, and let me tell you, this room was really damn cool. We stayed in the Squint Penthouse, check out some photos:

Goat lamp.

A bed for a king.

Swank Mirror.

Big Chair, Silver couch.

Insane coffee table.

This was the biggest hotel room of our stay, the one in Barcelona was pretty spacious, but this had all the amenities.

We went across the street to check out the V&A Museum, and this was probably my favorite museum in London, as it had something from everywhere in the world.

Literally thousands of ceramics in the V&A, they take up an entire floor.

Dave.

Molly's obsession of taking photos of windows.

Me and my crew rolling into town.

More crazy ceramics.

I want this gold boat.

Things nightmares are made from. Carolein Smit is one hell of an artist.

For a nightcap, we walked around the neighborhood, and noticed a lot of people in the Knightsbridge and Hyde Park area really love their front patio artwork. Some people have fountains, others bronze cheetahs, and some stone lions. Harrods was down the street, so we headed that direction for dinner (honestly, we just wanted burgers by this point of the trip).

Harrods.

The Athenaeum has plants growing all the way up the side, super rad!

Achilles, Molly's hero, with a shadow of Molly Pretending to be Achilles.

Lion & Unicorn, symbols of British Crown, England & Scotland.

This is a jewel portrait of the Queen, but lined up in just the right way to look like she's being towed by a Lorry.

That's all for today.
