100 Dreams for 2019

Image
PINNED POST. There's too much I could say about my favorite Ramen Shop  Dream Workshop, Yume Wo Katare, but I'll save that for another post. The big news is that today (12/28/2018) is the last possible day for Ramen at YWK in 2018, they'll open again on January 2, 2019. For the start of next year they handed me a list of 100 dreams for next year, and I'm going to try my best to accomplish all 100 of these dreams; it just might take me longer than a year.

Honeymoon Day 13

Image
Today is the last day of the Honeymoon, which means there's really not much left to do but head back to the airport and fly on home. Where our penthouse was across the street from the Natural History Museum, we looked at it, we very easily could have gone inside right as they opened, but we wanted to go for a walk around Hyde Park and see the statues and the birds. The Albert Memorial is a little extra, but it's pretty rad. One of the four corners of the Albert Memorial, featuring camel. Some birbs by the water. Molly had a waffle on our final walk back to the hotel. This is the pretty bar at the hotel. Our final, final stop, Molly let me have Nando's at the airport. It was pretty alright. The best thing about flying home at sunset, is it's literally 6 hours of chasing the sunset. Overall our honeymoon was very fun and seeing new places is always the coolest, especially when it's with the person you love the most. Joe

Honeymoon Day 12

Today's our last day in Barcelona, and by that I mean we're flying out at like 8am to go back to London, so this doesn't even count. There was some kind of disruption going on at the train station, if I heard right I think the train workers were on strike, so we couldn't hop a train to the airport, so we took a cab instead, nbd. We blew the rest of our remaining Euro on some breakfast at the airport, and then it was a little over 2 hours to London. Check in at passport one last time in jolly old England, and off to downtown again.  For the last night of our honeymoon, I booked us the swankest place in town: The Exhibitionist Hotel. Artists come into the hotel and design the rooms and the furniture, and let me tell you, this room was really damn cool. We stayed in the Squint Penthouse, check out some photos: Goat lamp. A bed for a king. Swank Mirror. Big Chair, Silver couch. Insane coffee table. This was the biggest hotel room of o
