Honeymoon Day 4

Honeymoon Day 4 in London marks our last full day in London, but we will be in London on 3 different dates upcoming: half day tomorrow, half day next Thursday, and half day next Friday. Now so far on our journey we've averaged about 8 miles of walking each day, that's essentially a full Marathon at this point, so what better way to break up the walking by going on a day trip on a bus! We hopped on a bus at Victoria Station to take us to Warwick Castle, Stratford Upon Avon, and Oxford. The bus ride was wonderful, our tour guide was fantastic and very informative about all the information we'd need to know going into the cities and areas we'd visit. From little mundane things like the types of stones used to build house in the area, thatched rooves, and details about the significance of Oxford and Warwick castle historically. Honeymoon Day 2

I'm writing this post exactly a month to the day of when we were actually in London, but better late than never they always say, right? Day 2 starts with waking up in the morning for breakfast at the hotel, which is held in the small little dining room in the basement of the building, but has windows to the street to allow light in, it was a cute little place. Orange Juice, Tea, Full English Breakfast, and more toast than a grocery store on fire. Seriously, our hotel loved to give us toast, there was so much of it. One of our Number one stops in London was to see the Tower of London. Turns out that the area surrounding the Tower of London is London Proper. And most of the rest of the city was surrounding neighborhoods, that in modern times today have been annexed and now make up London.
