Today is the day that we leave for Paris, but before we head for the train, we're gonna run around the neighborhood one last time to see some more sights, mostly The British Museum. Molly was extra excited to see the Elgin Marbles, and I literally thought they were marbles, like the ones you play for keeps on the New York Streets circa 1900. Turn out a dude named Elgin stole the marbles from Greece, and now Greece wants them back, but the British Museum will not allow this, so the fight rages on, (Molly literally screamed in the British Museum "Give Them Back!!!"). Traveling from the US to London at night is, on paper, one of the best ways to travel to London. Essentially if you leave at 8pm Saturday, you'll arrive at local London time at 8am Sunday, 5 hour time change plus the almost 7 hour flight. 7 hour flight is the perfect amount of time to catch some sleep and then run around the city as soon as you land, no time lost! Just one problem: Actually sleeping on a plane. I'm a very light sleeper, so even with music I know and love to put me to sleep, eye covers, and a travel pillow, I'm lucky if I actually slept for two hours. Molly on the other hand definitely slept more, not necessarily well, but she always sleeps in moving vehicles. Second problem arises, we had a great tail wind, so we're in London just a hair ahead of schedule, so even less possible sleep time. A nap is our top priority, but unfortunately, it's 8am when we leave the plane, so we'll be through customs on a train and at our hotel by 10am. Check in ...
