I Think This Is The Only Time I'll Ever Defend DT

Image
DT personally pays* for all the food supplied to the Clemson Football Team following their national championship. The internet goes ablaze when they find out it's McDonald's, Wendy's, Burger King. Everyone's pissed because this is not the food champions deserve . *supposedly. And then this happened:

Rearranging The Apartment

Image
We've been living in the Apartment we're currently in now for nearly 5 years, and we never truly organized the whole place. For the most part, everyone owns something somewhere and It's been a mishmash of what ends up where, so over the past couple weeks I've slowly made my way through the apartment little by little to organize everything into a convenient and efficient living space. This has nothing to do with Marie Kondo. If you were to ask me, "Does this spark joy?" My answer would be

Catching Up On One Piece

Anime is a thing I keep going back and forth with throughout the years. My sister was obsessed with Sailor Moon, but me being a young dumb boy in Middle School, I hated it. I hate the Japanese cartoons with the mouths that don't move right for what they're saying, and before I even finished this sentence I could hear Heidi saying to me, "but it's not a cartoon Joey, it's ~Anime~." I remember Heidi rushing home after school to catch Sailor Moon on Toonami around 4pm, luckily I didn't have to watch it with her every day, as I'd play sports or whatever with my friends, but rainy days meant watching Sailor Moon with Heidi... It was awful. (1999) Until this show came on after Sailor Moon, it was called

How Hard Is It To Hit An Upright?

Cody Parkey is the kicker for the Chicago Bears. He missed 7 field goals in the regular season, 5 of them hit the upright, 4 uprights happened in one game. The goal posts have 18 feet and 6 inches between them, arguably infinity outside of them, and the posts themselves are only 6 and 5/8 inches in diameter. With seconds left against Philadelphia, the Bears are lined up to win the game: Kick a field goal, move on to the next round. Philly calls a time out, play stops, but Parkey goes through with his movements, hits a beautiful field goal. 60 Seconds pass, the true attempt is about to come, he kicks the ball and it tails left, tails left, tails left... Doink. Hits the upright. Number 6. Game. Philadelphia. Poor Cody Parkey. How hard is it to hit the upright? Not at all if you're a Bears fan, apparently. It's the perfect end to a weird season for the kicker. Joe

Doing Things I Liked To Do Again, Just In 2019

Taking a hiatus is a weird and kind of dangerous thing. I honestly expected myself to only take a break from blogging for maybe a year or two, but here we are now almost 7 years later and I'm committing to actually blogging again. To be fair, part of the reason I stopped blogging for so long was because I was incredibly negative online, and I almost lost my job because of that, so I decided to just quit the whole thing and shut it all down. All those old posts still exist, they're still there somewhere in the ether, but they'll probably never come out from hiding. Some of them are funny, some are sad, the majority are clickbait, and some are outright mean and horrendous. I think 7 years is a good enough time to step back, learn from previous mistakes and move forward with a new outlook on life. I'm going to give the whole blogging thing a shot again and I'll try to stay as positive as possible during the process. Being negative is so easy, and I think that's
